Photovoltaic power generation is used as a distributed power source, and the backup power storage and photovoltaic power form a photovoltaic storage system. Therefore, 5G macro and micro base stations use intelligent photovoltaic storage systems to form a source-load-storage integrated microgrid, which is an effective solution to the energy consumption problem of 5G base stations and promotes energy transformation.
Access to the 5G base station microgrid photovoltaic storage system based on the energy sharing strategy has a significant effect on improving the utilization rate of the photovoltaics and improving the local digestion of photovoltaic power. The case study presented in this paper was considered the base stations belonging to the same operator.
To address the challenges posed by the large-scale integration of electric vehicles and new energy sources on the stability of power system operations and the efficient utilization of new energy, the integrated photovoltaic-energy storage-charging model emerges.
During 10:00–17:00, the photovoltaic output meets the requirements of the 5G base station microgrid, and the excess photovoltaic output is used for energy storage charging. From 18:00–23:00, the energy storage is discharged. Fig. 6 shows a comparison between the final load curve of scenario 4 and the original load curve.
The photovoltaic storage system is introduced into the ultra-dense heterogeneous network of 5G base stations composed of macro and micro base stations to form the micro network structure of 5G base stations .
