Parameters of photovoltaic panels (PVPs) is necessary for modeling and analysis of solar power systems. The best and the median values of the main 16 parameters among 1300 PVPs were identified. The results obtained help to quickly and visually assess a given PVP (including a new one) in relation to the existing ones.
The authors have created a database of one-sided PVPs from 100 to 450 W power range, which includes PVPs from 72 manufacturing companies around the world. The paper analyzes 1300 mono- and polycrystalline, heterostructural and thin-film PVPs.
The completed review established the ranges of these parameters with the rated panel power from 100 to 450 W, taking into account the type of PVPs, their manufacture origin (foreign or Russian), and the rated power.
The lack of extensive data analysis on existing photovoltaic panels (PVPs) can lead to missed opportunities and benefits when optimizing photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) deployment solutions. The feasibility study of the PVPP requires accurate data on PVPs in order to fully unleash their potential.
During the study, the following types of single-sided PVPs were considered, depending on the composition of the cells: monocrystalline PVPs , polycrystalline PVPs [80, 81], heterostructural PVPs [, , ], thin-film PVPs [85, 86]. The distribution of the investigated PVPs by type and power is shown in Fig. 2. Fig. 2.
